The Question Club
Does anyone know why radio morning shows start, traditionally, around 6am? I'm going to guess that the majority of people wouldn't even be listening until they're driving to work, so maybe 7:30 at the earliest. So even if they get to work and listen they've missed an hour and a half no matter what.|
What makes it worse is when they get syndicated. I'm sure people in california love to either not have a live show or have to start it at 3am. It'd be over by the time most of them get up.
I loved the Opie and Anthony show when it was on, mostly because it started at 3pm. Easy to catch in the afternoon, the drive home, and for a couple hours at home until 7. Makes sense to me. Now it's on at 6am for some silly reason on XM, even though it's its own channel (so it could be on at anytime they wanted).
What's the dealio?
