The Question Club
Throughout your lifetime, when have you had realizations that seemingly everyone else you know had had long, loooong before?|
The kind where you have a reaction (either mentally or vocally) of, “Oh. OH!”
Here are two of mine.
Until I was about 15 or 16, I didn’t realize people actually had hamburgers and such for dinner. My sister and I went to the house of some friends and there were hamburgers and fries for everyone to eat. I blame this on my parents being slightly food snobbish. ;-)
Earlier this year I was in Baltimore and spent a lot of time on the road. (Flew there with a friend and was in another friend’s car for a while.) I noticed something strange about the trees alongside the highway, but couldn’t put my finger on it. Being a born and bred Californian, I realized only when I got home and looked around outside the Sacramento airport, that it was because I had never seen completely bare, leafless trees before.
OK, now, share yours. ;-)
