I was the first person on LJ to have Hsu and Chan listed as an interest.

Do you have an LJ "claim to fame"? (I'm bored, this is the best I could come up with.)

Are there companies that find people jobs? I don't mean temp, good for the meantime kind of jobs, but jobs that are optimal for your career? How much do they cost?

I will be moving eventually, but it is probably going to be really tough looking for a job in an area I don't live in (and don't know very well).

what are some quirky things that you find endearing about the opposite sex? i'm not talking generic attributes, like a sense of humor, athelticism, kindness, nice eyes, etc . . . but UNIQUE things.

i love hooded sweatshirts and when guys squat down to talk to little kids.

If the people born from the late '40s to the mid '60s are baby boomers, and the people born from the late '60s to the '70s are Generation X, then what are those of us who were born from the '80s to now?

Is there any reason why my hair would start falling out? Over the last few months much more of my hair has been falling out than before, and it's weird. Whenever I brush my hair or wash my hair I seem to pull half my hair out (Okay, maybe that's exaggeration.. but still). I'm a fourteen year old girl, and I think I'm pretty healthy and my life isn't that stressful (:P). So anyone know why my hair's falling out? I'd kinda like to live to see fifteen with a full head of hair and no bald patches.. my family'd be extremely grateful for any advice on fixing this too, because my hair blocking up the plug holes is really starting to gross them out.

Hi by the way.

last time i was at a hotel with my friends, on the last day, i asked if we could all throw down some money for the housekeeping tip. two of the people i was with had never heard of doing it. is it uncommon to leave a few dollars on the pillow on the last day of your stay at a hotel?

i'm not fat, but i have a poochy little tummy. most girls have this and most guys don't mind, some like it even. but mine sticks out a little more than it needs do.
my diet isn't too terribly bad. i live on peanut butter sandwiches and fruit. although dinner can be anything since my stepmom fixes it. but she's a diet freak so nothing she makes is too fattening.
ok the point is, what can be done to flatten it out a bit?

So let's say someone parked their Mercedes in front of your driveway, and not only can you not park your own car in your driveway but you actually can't find a parking spot until the next block.
Do you...

A. Do nothing and quietly sulk?
B. Leave a note telling them that if they do it again you'll have them towed?
C. Immediately have the car towed.

I chose B, but I'm still pretty damn annoyed.

Does anybody know of any good independent bands that I could try? I listen to a lot of classic rock (obviously the Beatles...), and stuff from the eighties, though I like pretty much all types of music. As long as it's not that new punk stuff/hard rock I'd probably like it.
