What small weird things can make you attracted to someone you disregarded before?
For example, a couple of years back I took a photography class. While working in the darkroom a nondescript guy, not ugly but not "hot", put a Louis Armstrong CD on. As soon as he put in "What a Wonderful World" I started to drool. I honestly don't know why that shot him up the scale but he distracted me for the rest of the evening.
I ordered a three disc DVD set from a seller on Amazon.com. Two of the DVDs work part of the way through and then mess up so you can't watch anything past that point. The seller's sending me new ones, and in the e-mail he said this:
I have heard of older DVD players having problems reading the 2nd layers (around 5th episode)
The two discs that don't work do stop working around there (one in the middle of the 5th ep, one at the beginning of the 4th) but is it really because of my DVD player? I've never heard of the layer problem before, and the fact that one disc works fine makes me think it isn't the DVD player.
I just bought a pair of inline skates and when I tried them on after I got home, I discovered that there was a brake on only one of the skates. Is it supposed to be like this? Or are both skates supposed to have brakes? I'm so clueless.
1)Does anyone know of any soaps or gels that are good at removing the stickiness left by medical tape? It has to be safe to use around/near wounds, though. (So no bleach, ouch).
2)I watched a movie a few years ago, and I'm trying to figure out what it was. Don't know the name of it, or the actors involved. I just remember it was about a man who was having "issues", I think he was getting headaches, or he was feeling disoriented, or something like that. He was married, but was having marital problems. He had a chiropractor who was also a friend, that he was speaking with about his problems, I think. Then, he finds out someone's been tampering with his brain, and he's strapped to a gurney in a mental hospital looking place, and a bunch of doctors tinker with his brain. That's all I remember. Hopefully, this isn't two, or three, or four movies that my mind is combining (or memories of my life, lol). Anyway, if you can help me out, I'd appreciate it.
