I offended someone...

They said i can practically sleep anywhere. I then said can you sleep in a coffin. They said they got offended cuz only dead people sleep there. That when you think of coffin its about death. I told her yeah but its not a bed but you can lay down on it and sleep. yeah i guess i was being smart but come on. the person cried cuz she said why would i put her in that situation.

would you get offended? can you sleep in a coffin? lol

Concerts

What are the top three live shows you have seen? And what was it about them that made them so great?

My answers:

1. Tina Turner/Cyndi Lauper - Tina Turner did NOT stop moving throughout the whole show. That woman can SING. She has always been one of my all-time favorite musicians.

2. Disco Biscuits at the Haymaker Festival - I was with my boyfriend and my 2 bestest friends. The set that they played has gone down in Bisco history as one of the best sets they've ever done. Their rendition of Helicopter still gives me chills everytime I hear it.

3. Stone Temple Pilots/Local H - Scott Weiland performed much of the show in tight black pants and no shirt. Need I say more? ;) Not to mention, they played a badass acoustic set, Scott Weiland showed just how cool he really is with his interaction with the audience, and Local H ROCKED my socks!

Runner's up:
KMFDM
Pantera/Morbid Angel/Soulfly
Pearl Jam/L7/Neil Young

hammocks

I am looking at hammocks on ebay, and I have noticed two main kinds. The traditional cotton rope and wood spread bars, and the other mexican/yucatan with no spreader bars and a larger bed.

Does anyone have any experience with hammocks?

If you were to purchase one, which one would you want?

About leather..

This is nowhere near as kinky as it may sound, I promise ;) I happen to be in Ecuador right now, doing a language school and volunteering and being a gringo tourist in general, and I bought a leather purse 2 weeks ago. But it smells.. rather leather-like, and it makes my entire room smell like it, and it isn't really pleasant. Does anyone have advice on how to fix this problem? I'm guessing there's some leather product for this, but I don't really even know how to go about finding that here in Ecuador. So any help at all would be great :) Thanks!
