Well, with this whole "war" that is about to happen sometime this week, supposedly, I have a few questions.
1. What did Iraq exactly do to have the US go from afghanistan to Iraq? Because I could have sworn it happened overnight. I watch the news a bunch anyway and it was all talking about Afghanistan caves and Bin Laden, and the next, talking about Saddam Hussein. I also think it's sad that I actually know how to spell their names, but that's besides the point.
2. This kind of goes along with the first, what did North Korea do to get involved in this whole "thing?" I heard nothing about them and then bam! there were all these articles about them threatening war. I seriously doubt they just did that out of nowhere, I figure it's something the US did and I'm not aware of.
Does anyone know the real answer as to why the were first involved not the later issues, because those get pounded into us on a daily basis now?
One last thing, I support the French's decision, I think they have it figured out more than anyone else. I personally don't see a point in bombing, killing people, and the whole possibility in germ warfare. But, since this "war" seems inevitable as it seems there is no way of getting that notion out of Bush's head, you know, I'll support my country. It's our soldiers going out there risking their lives for our country and for our safety, which I don't think was threatened until the US did something. Although, I just wish Bush could at least be out over there and actually be in the battle. I think it'd be good for him.
One last thing, with the whole bashing France for not supporting us, that was uncalled for. They are one of our allies, you do not do that to "friends" think of all the times France helped us out, it's a mutual relationship. I don't think we should distant ourselves from long-standing ties, but rather, understand that no, not every country thinks like the US...is it me or does this sound almost like high school?
*looks around* Well, I think it does...oh, and thanks for listening to my ramble if you actually spent the time reading all this :D
