Is Live journal being screwed up for anyone else, or is it just me?
It posted my last post twice and then when I tried to delete one it said it couldn't so I tried to post again to apoligize to the people on my friends page for posting twice and it said it couldn't post. And now I check again and the post it said it couldn't delete was deleted and the post it said it couldn't post was posted! Whaaaaaaaat?
did anyone see alanis on craig killborn tonight? what song did she sing... it's driving me crazy. I guess it's on her new dvd. I don't remember how it goes but I thought I liked it when I was semi-listening to it.
why do people with even the slightest little issues with their boyfriends and girlfriends seek out the absolute loneliest friend they have to dump all their problems on?
I'm wondering if this a local thing or if it's something that everyone does everywhere. Here she comes now, say mony mony (or any line that's the same pattern)
When they play the Billy Idol song Mony Mony in bars or at parties, It goes
And then everyone in the place pipes in with
Hey everybody, get laid, get fucked!
Do you do this? If so, where did it come from?
Does anybody here like Gormenghast (either the BBC mini-series, or the book series)? I'm having the hardest time tracking down fans...Makes me feel so randomly elitist....
So, does anyone know of that made for TV movie starring Patrick Stewart that was supposed to be based on King Lear? Know of it in the sense of what's the name of it, where can I download it, and would it be worth it. Personally, though, I think Patrick Stewart rocks, so I'll find it somehow anyway, but I just need a name.
Am I the only one who thinks American Idol is fixed?
I watched the finals and everything and some of the people who made it passed the first round COULD NOT SING. They were there to laugh at.
About a week ago a coworker told me the she broke up with her boyfriend of three years. She was really upset and we had this really long talk about how her life would be better now and how he'd been dragging her down for so long...
The next day, she came into work engaged.
And they think this is going to solve it all.
So this brings me to my question, because this seems to have happened to more people than I thought. I mean, I would think that when you break up with someone, it's *over*, not just beginning.
Are there any statistics on how many marriages happened after a break-up? And how often do these marriages work out?
