(brave) digital future of branding [Nov. 10th, 2002|11:08 am]

a few questions to the community:

would you agree that the brands of the future will be more democratic? more open? or, rather, should be, to merely survive ?

do you think that brands (i.e., agencies behind them) will be able to become more dialogical, more multi-dimensional in their conversations (compared to the current top-down, patronizing way of today?)

do you think that opportunities of the new digital media (on-line connectivity of the people etc) can help brands (or will force them) to move towards co-creation/co-ownership of branding ?

please share your thoughts and any specific examples, evidence or signs of that development (or the opposite one).

Kind of a frivolous question, but...

What album do you think has the coolest cover art/liner notes?

I'd have to say my favorite is Daisies of the Galaxy by the Eels. The artwork for the album and the singles are done in a style that just screams 70's vintage childrens' records, and I think it's pretty nifty. :)

for some reason lately (just the past year or so), when i sweat, it burns my skin. not to the point of leaving marks or anything, it just stings and burns if i leave it or if i sweat for too long. i thought it might be my makeup, and i've stopped wearing makeup mostly anyway, but it still does it. anybody have any idea why? :/
