Is this Joke funny? [Oct. 6th, 2002|09:14 am]
The Question Club

[mood |soresore]

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes have rolled back in his head.

The other guy whips out his mobile phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?"

The operator, in a soothing voice, says: "Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead."

There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: "OK, now what?"

That was found to be the funniest joke in the world. here's an article about it

I am a naturalized U.S.A. citizen. I am interested in applying for the Peace Corps, and the application requires a naturalization #, but I don't know what mine is. I have a passport, and I have a SSN card. Do any of you know where I can find out my naturalization #?

If These Walls Could Talk [Oct. 6th, 2002|07:20 pm]

[music |Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith - 07 - Dry County]

I watched If These Walls Could Talk last night with a friend for her English class. Very sad. Something that I was unsure about though...

The first one with Demi Moore. Did she die from the abortion? They show her call the hospital but she never gives them the address and she collapses there and there's blood everywhere but they don't say if she died or not. Does anyone know?

What did you think of this movie? And have you seen the second one? I want to watch it. But I want to wait b/c they're so sad.

A question for the "mature" woman... [Oct. 6th, 2002|10:51 pm]

[mood |contemplativecontemplative]

I've never really given much thought to skin care before. (With the exception of keeping my face clean and zit-free) As I near 26 yrs old, I'm starting to pay more attention to all the ads about "younger looking skin" and "reversing the aging process".

There's like 50 million different types of skin creams, "replenishers", toners, etc. out there and I'm wondering are they any good? I'd like some insight into what *you* are using and what you think about it.
