Question after my own heart

1. Do you believe in coincidence?

2. If not, what do you believe is really happening when things fall into accord like that?

3. What's one of the most interesting coincidences that's ever happened to you?

My answers below cut

1. No, I do not

2. What we deem as coincidence occurs when the universe and our fate/destiny/path/'whatever you call it' become closely entwined. When these things happen, it means that we're exactly where we should be at that moment, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. A convergence of will and timing, if you will. I'm a seeker by nature, and I have reason to support this theory, without the liberty of discussing the reasons here due to the volume of my explanation.

3. Coincidences happen to me constantly. Many of them highly unusual and improbable. Probably the most unusual one that's ever happened to me happened when I was around 16. My mom was watching Jeopardy and I wasn't really watching, wanting to turn the station to something else. Some answer seemed rather obscure and infathomable (to a 16yr old boy) and I mockingly said, "Who is Colonial Mustard?", thinking it was the most ridiculous, random response that in no way could be right. None of the contestants responded, due to the particular difficulty of this question, and when time ran out, Alex said "Who is Colonial Mustard?" It wasn't even a question about the game Clue. I think it was a literary reference, one that I would never know.
