I am replacing the front shocks on a 91 Jeep.

The nut on one of the bolts is rounded off and looks like the previous owner over-tightened the nut with an air tool as the whole assembly spins when I get a grip on the top of the bolt with a socket.

Its too tight to get a nut breaker or grinder in there.

Any ideas beyond welding another nut to it and hoping it spins out?

I have some basic tools (socket wrenches, combo, etc) but not much in the way of advance mechanic tools.
