On the 21st of December I had dental work done-specifically fillings.
On the 25th of December I was eating something and got this HUGE pain from a tooth that had been worked on (the pain is only really there when I eat using said tooth).
Today-January 3rd, I made an appointment. It was the holidays and I was kind of hoping it would go away (my dentist had mentioned there might be pain for up to three weeks after, and even though this was delayed by four days I was optimistic).

So tomorrow I go for an appointment and I am unsure what to expect. I saw a picture(of the cavity) and the dentist assured me this was a TINY cavity. So what went wrong? And if the filling came out...will I have to pay (assuming this doesn't mean I need a crown or root canal)?

Has this ever happened to you?
