Earlier this year I was like "You know what would be fun?!? Reading one book for January, two for February, three for March, and so on, for a total of seventy-eight books!" Also if I'm really bored in December I can copy-paste the cover images into Paint and make myself a Christmas book tree! It's ridiculous but I might manage it if I supplement longer works with plays, novellas, poetry books, etc. -- books you can easily get through in a few hours or a day or two at most. Can you guys recommend any, especially plays? I've read a good bit of Tennessee Williams and Eugene O'Neill, some Arthur Miller, A Raisin in the Sun, Our Town, and...that's about it.

Also I should explain that I don't plan on reading 3 books in March, 10 in October, etc. I'm shooting for at least 6 books a month since 78/12 = 6.5. I guess that's not too bad but I've only gotten through 2-3 novels a month so far and I really want to read more plays.

Tell me about your reading habits/preferences! Hardcovers, softcovers, e-books, audiobooks? Proper bookmarks, random scraps of paper, dog-ears, saving your page by just turning it over and laying it on a table, chair arm, etc.? Favorite reading spot(s)? Where do you usually get your books? Do you listen to music or do anything else while reading? Fiction or non-fiction? What topics, settings, characters, etc. tend to appeal to you?

What's the best book you've read in 2015? What are you reading right now?
