I cooked a pot roast in the crock pot this afternoon. I usually slow cook it for 8+ hours on low, but today I had to cook it on high for 4 hours. The roast was very tough. I transferred it to a pot on the stove and let it simmer with the veggies for 2 hours, but not much change. We ended up ordering pizza. The roast is now in the fridge, and I don't want to waste it.
Is there any way to tenderize the roast? Or is it as good as garbage?
