Are folks overseas as obsessed with pumpkins as we are?
Like, as soon as late summer/early autumn hits us, we go CRAZY for pumpkins. We flavor EVERYTHING with them, we cook with them, we decorate with them... they are absolutely a staple of our diet during this time of the year.
But... it occurred to me that pumpkins and squashes are native to the Americas. So I wonder -- are they so beloved outside of our countries?
EDIT: Also, will you share some of your favourite pumpkin recipes? Our neighbors have a HUGE pumpkin patch and we're excited to start cooking up a storm with them!
