I'm going to see my godchildren for the first time in far too long. They're four and five, and I want to bring them something, but I don't want to just fill their lives with cheap plastic. I want to give them something meaningful. I was thinking books, but I don't know what books they own. What should I give them? Are there any kids' books for those ages that they probably don't have that would be appropriate for an atheist godparent to give a Christian godchild? Or any non-book suggestions?
