I wake up, turn off my alarm, take my birth control pill, put on slippers, shuffle downstairs, turn on espresso machine to warm up, cook eggs and toast, chop up/peel/etc some fruit, make coffee. Linger for some time over breakfast, 45 min-an hour if I can, either reading or internet-ing. I get up extra early so I can do this as I absolutely must ease into my day. Go back upstairs, brush teeth, put in contacts, get dressed, make-up, hair, pack up school/work stuff and out the door on a week day or do whatever on the weekend.
I have to have a substantial breakfast every day or I feel weak, crabby and awful. Usually its some variation of eggs, fruit and toast or bread, and coffee or black tea. Its my favorite meal of the day.
I usually get up around 6 AM on a weekday and 8 or 9 on the weekend.
