Yesterday morning, she decided to assign a three-page paper to us, in which we must argue for the grade we think we have earned. Check out her criteria:
"It is the expectation that all students will attend class, show up on time, participate in the discussion or exercise, come prepared, work with peers, communicate with professor, present, turn in assignments, keep up with the schedule, contribute to the community, write, revise, edit, and be respectful--this equates to a C.
So, if you believe you should earn a higher grade, please describe why. Be specific about certain areas. You don't have to attend to every single one, but those that you feel best apply.
You do not get an A for showing up."
This paper is due tomorrow.
Just what, exactly, does this woman define as an A student? How do you guys feel about this? Bitch with me, because I'm almost done with the paper and have time to do so.
In unrelated news, I am no longer drunk.
