does it scare you when you are out in public and a friend sees you and taps you on the shoulder, or puts their hands over your eyes and say "guess who" ?

are you injured right now? how?

That's never happened, but I'm sure it would terrify me.

No more than usual.

I don't think I've had that happen before, but it would scare the shit outta me.

My cat gave me a good scratch earlier, I probably deserved it though. Haha!

Yes.

I have some sort of stomach virus, and I can't keep anything down apart from iceblocks and dry noodles :(

This has only happened to me once and sadly my friend was an alcoholic and I could smell the beer and knew it was him :-(

I've got arthritis, so my ankles and knees are always hurting. Also, my sciatic nerve makes me walk like a penquin and hunch like quasimodo. It's never pretty but it lasts for two weeks at a time. Currently. I have hopefully only a few days left and I'll be back to normal-ish.

ack! yes and it's because it was while I was 'injured' and she yanked on my very infected swollen stitched neck. I just had surgery on my neck and she put her arm around it and a hand over my eyes and pulled me up- freaked everyone out I was with and I had anxiety issues with that part of my body being touched for nearly 5 years. eeeeek!

and because sometimes Im wearing glasses and I hate fingerprints on them.

no, but I have a few bruises post-injury. are you?

ohhh that made me cringe in a big ow way

i twisted my ankle the other day, the right one and when i landed my toes flexed backwards so they hurt too. im going to this green fest on the weekend so i will have to take some breaks from walking every so often!

I make the UGG face and noise when I recall this story too. ugh!

oh my, your feet sound very stretched out in the wrong way. What is a green fest? make me think of smoking pot in a lush jungle. Regardless of what it really is, that's what I'm picturing you doing. :)

It doesn't scare me, but I really hate when people do that.

I have some shaving injuries on my legs. I always manage to nick myself pretty well.

I hate that so much, I get really freaked out. D:

No, thankfully!

I've never had that happen, but it would probably scare me to death.

No big injuries, but I have blisters on my heels from wearing a certain pair of shoes today. :(

I really don't like it when people do that, it freaks me the fuck out. Putting their hands over my eyes especially annoys me beacuse I wear glasses and I don't like people smudging them

Not injured at the moment, lucky me :)

I get startled, but not scared. I don't like the hands over the eyes thing. The elbow jab usually discourages a future performance. ;)

My ankle is in a cast. :[

I'm sure it would. Having been friends with a black belt in tang soo do, I know it's a really bad idea to surprise some people like that.

Not particularly.

Only my female friends tend to do that, so no. I don't find it threatening at all.

No one puts their hands over my eyes because of my glasses. Mostly, whenever my friends see me out, they shove me / brush up against me. Thinking about it, it's kind of weird, but they do it to see if I'd blow up at the stranger. This has now made me more tolerant when people really knock into me, I guess.

Nope.

Oh, but one friend I have constantly tries to scare me if they see me. They're convinced I shouldn't get scared in public since it's safe, but I don't like people surprising me like that. So, I scare easily.

wtf. there is a very good chance i would whip around and punch them in the face and/or break their wrist before i could actually make a guess.

i don't know if it's technically an injury but part of my spine i have a problem with is causing me grief again at the moment.

I don't have asshole friends like that, but I did use to work with asshole coworkers and go to high school with asshole students who thought it would be awesome to put up my hood or rip off my headband as if I DIDN'T spend all morning making sure I looked decent.

I'm reacting to the sudden weather change, so I'm miserable in my sinuses and throat. And sleeping has left my neck/shoulders sore as hell.
