How do you train a cat to stop humping people?

The cat in question was recently fixed but he is also a year and a half old so he must be in the habit of humping.

I'm not really sure but he might cut it out as he gets older. I think my moms cats did it for a while but then stopped.

You could maybe spray him with a spray bottle of water, cats hate that.

They have tried that. So far, not so good.

when mine did that i had a twofold approach: first offense was getting knocked off the bed. if he kept coming back, i'd take him to the bathroom and flick him with some water drops.

You could try positive reinforcement - each time he gets off of your leg after you say, "Down!" immediately give him some kind of treat.

Usually punishment doesn't work for more than a very short period of time, but positive reinforcement sticks around.

I... I don't know if I've ever known a cat to hump. Spray, yes, but hump, no.
