How often do you floss (be honest)?

A couple times a week, or if I note something stuck between my teeth.

It's sporadic. Last time I went to the dentist I was good about doing it every night for a while but it was actually really irritating to my gums so I fell off with it. (I don't know if I'm just too vigorous or what?). Now I floss whenever I can tell there's something stuck in my teeth (which is pretty often given how often I eat popcorn), but I don't have a strict schedule of every other day or whatnot. When I do it depends on whether it feels like I need it (because it does feel good to do it if it's not too often) and whether or not I'm running late to bed. I'd say it works out to about twice a week.

Twice a day. I am addicted to floss picks. They make flossing so easy that I don't mind doing it whenever I brush my teeth.

Pretty much when I think about it. So that could be twice a day or once a week.

Every day. I have those flossing toothpicks by my bed and I use them while watching a show or movie or something.

At the moment? Practically daily, except for days when I just fall into bed.

That said, I always go through high-flossing periods and then will completely forget about it for months.

I used to do it sporadically. Dislike having to put hands in my mouth, it takes so long, and really doesn't seem to help much.

I recently got a waterpick and I am NEVER going back. It's awesome. Really scrub between teeth, you can throw a bit of mouthwash and/or hydrogen peroxide in it, and it cleans up along the gumline great too!

I got one of those a little while back :D but now I'm annoyed that (for now) I can only use it in the morning (when I usually only think to floss at night), because our baby's crib is in our bedroom and I'd hate to wake her up. I don't know if they are all noisy, but the one we got is SUPER loud.

It's super convenient how easy it is to use just with water though.

I try to remember to do it once a day but realistically it's like twice a week that I will do it thoroughly. I do know of a couple of particular problem areas so sometimes if I'm in a rush I will only take care of those. I use floss pick things, but I can't easily use them in the back of my mouth.

Since I went to the dentist at the beginning of the year, like three times a week. We'll see how long that lasts.

About every 3 days, or when I need it (like after eating chicken or steak, which pretty much lives in my teeth).

haha yea all these answers make me feel so gross too -- I floss super rarely. It's just so painful!!

My dentist has never told me that everything is gross and I should floss, so I feel like it's not actually a problem, at least in my case.

Ever since I gave up chocolate two years ago, I only floss once a month when I eat popcorn. Two years no cavities! Yay! I was told by my wife that if I had braces when I was a kid, then I would need to floss more.

Multiple times throughout the day. My teeth have always been prone to cavities, so a few years back I finally got in the habit of flossing daily, and now i'm kind of obsessive about it because my teeth just want to cause me problems.

I try to remember to do it once a day, after I brush my teeth at night, but I usually only end up doing it maybe 3-4 times a week.

NEVER.

I mean, that's not entirely true. Once or twice a year I'll feel super guilty and bust out with one of those mini flosses the dentists give you. I really have to start though. I will be uninsured for the first time ever this summer and it could last awhile. I've already had at least 7 cavities and a root canal in my lifetime, I can't afford to be so lazy anymore.

I try to do it every night before bed, but that doesn't happen every time. Probably 4-6 times a week. I still get cavities though. :(
