So my husband is in a band - they play gigs fairly often and he's been a part of the band for just over a year.
Up until now he's been paid for the gigs in a fairly timely manner - usually at the next rehearsal. The last 2 gigs though - he's still waiting to be paid. The first one was on the 2nd of Feb and the second was 2 weeks after that.
The lead singer of the band has been paid for the gigs - she just hasn't passed on the money to the rest of the guys. They've had several rehearsals since the last gig. I'm incredibly frustrated as we could really use the money (roughly $500).. Also because my husband won't outright ask for it :/
Would you send a (nice) private message over Facebook to her (only means of contacting the singer..) or just wait? I've only met the singer a couple of times but she is a distant cousin of my husband..
I mean - we've gotten by with out the money but it's the principle of it now that's bugging me - as she's been paid she's had access to her part of it... I'm a singer myself and have been apart of bands in the past - there is no way I would keep the money from the rest of my band for this long!
