Being able to serve someone born in '95 alcohol :(:(:(
Oh and also that, holy crap.

That's OBSCENE. That's after the Lion King came out, ffs!
RIGHT?! I was playing Super Nintendo last night and the game was from '95...that kid probably wouldn't even know what Super Nintendo is :(
I would have refused them alcohol on principle and been all like NO YOU ARE CHILD GET OUT OF HERE.
I was SO CLOSE to kicking them out because I thought for sure they were fucking with me. Then I did the math :(
I had a moment like that at work the other day. This girl came in and wanted to get her ears pierced but had no parent with her so I asked her how old she was and she said "18" and I was so convinced she was lying to me that I looked at her and was like "are you sure?" half-playfully. She got super pissed and showed me her id...and sure enough she was 18. But dude! She was like 5" 2', baby-faced, and had braces! Honest to god she didn't look a day over 13 and neither did her boyfriend! I'm still half convinced it was a fake id.
I graduated high school in 1995.
Excuse me, I think there's somebody on my lawn I need to scare off.
Right? I graduated in 1990 and I'm like... oh hell no that people born that year are TWENTY THREE YEARS OLD.
THIS exact same thing. I wasn't serving but I saw the stupid sticker that is all "DONT FORGET TO CHECK ID" and had 1995 on it.
ughhh :( :(
Oh wow! It's been that long?
I'm only 19 and I turn 20 in April yet almost everything makes me feel old.
lol@how awkward that was, and the ensuing debate over whether or not it was staged or not.
no she just wears those on her nipples ~just in case~ *eye roll*
I refuse to feel old yet. It'll happen soon enough. I still get told I look like I'm 13 and I take it as a compliment.
Someone posted this thing about friends that said: Monica and Chandlers twins are 9. Emma is 11. And Ben is 18.
Then I felt really, really, really, old.
Oh my god. I watch re-runs of Friends almost daily so this hit me extra hard. So old right now, so old.
Destiny's Child came on during halftime and my younger brother was all like, "Who?"
WHAT. I hope you slapped him.
why? who cares, it IS destinys child
idgi then why slap him? i wouldve been like "exactly, kid! good job"
her boob is so lopsided :/
It's because she's wearing a weird corset top that's smooshing them all around.
i know, but, eugh i hate looking at it
I don't recognize half the artists who come up on Pandora.
i'm listening to a 90s alternative station, and realizing that i recognize a lot of the artists.
...then i remembered my dad listens to 60s radio and knows the music.
THEY MADE A 90s STATION THOUGH YAY
finding out it's been fifteen years since the whole jared the subway guy thing
hahah that was mine too! i look young and i feel young but i'm almost 27 and that doesn't quite register in my head. that commercial came on while i was bartending and my barback was this lovely little 18 year old kid, fresh into college, and i stopped and said, "okay i guess i feel old."
Or that if That 70s Show was made now it would be Full House. Omg.
No no no no no no no no. This post is depressing me.
I realized that I've known my oldest friend for 24 years...
This morning I realised that my eldest daughter is going to be 15 in July, I still think of her as someone who just graduated from primary school. My youngest, who I could swear was a baby a minute ago, started year 1 today.
nine?! i would have guess three.
today i felt old when the superbowl told me that jared has been on the subway diet for fifteen years.
My 10 year high school reunion is this summer... it doesn't feel like it's been that long!
I think I'm the only one here who thought it had been longer than 9 years lol.
But yeah, Jared the Subway guy being around for 15 years is rather depressing. And the fact that people born in the 90's can buy cigarettes or alcohol definitely makes me feel old.
One of my coworkers lost his mother suddenly this morning.....and it made me realize all of us in here (although it's a very small staff thank you recession) have lost one or both parents.....we're all within 3-8 years of each other's age. I know you don't have to be "old" to lose parents....but the realization still made me feel old.
that can make you feel old in a right hurry. I'm sorry all of you know what that's like. 8(
Oh and also that, holy crap.
THere are teenagers alive today who were born this side of the millenium. Children born the day I left school are 12 and a half now, and my own daughter is 8. I just feel ancient.
This wasn't today, but my second cousin's birthday was on the 31st. He turned sixteen. Which means I was about two weeks (February 14th) or so from turning eleven years old when he was born. I remember how excited I was to have a new baby cousin that lived in my state (I have another second cousin that's like two years older but he lives up in MA). I remember how when he was a little older he'd get so excited to see me and I'd play the elevator game with him, where I'd pick him up and then have him press my nose and I'd "drop" him. And then he used to ask me about Star Wars stuff. One of the first things I made in iMovie was a video of maybe one or two of his birthday parties where I did a Star Wars intro and such.
And now he's sixteen and is crazy tall (taller than me). >.> I feel oooold. I hopefully get to see him this weekend for his family party. I don't get to see them very often. :|
His brother is like...fourteen? too, which also makes me feel old.

(I'm in a class with a lot of younger kids, around 18 and 19)
The professor goes, "Now you kids are too young to really remember what it's like to have a born-again evangelical president."
And another day where we did the 'where were you on 9/11' and everyone was talking about ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
