Can you share pictures of long wavy haircuts?

I have long wavy hair and I need a trim but I feel super boring by not giving any more direction then that I want her to keep it long and just clean up the dry ends.

I also have long wavy hair and I can never find a photo that looks any different from plain, long and wavy hair. So I always say I want a trim and I always ask for layers and explain what I want my layers to do (bring out more curl and lighten up my heavy hair).

I'm at work and things are busy just now, so I can't find a picture, but there's a character from Angel called Gwen who has long wavy hair and she's got streaks of color in it. Not a lot, but maybe one red streak by her ear and another near her forehead. Worth checking out.

You could try layers?

I have long wavy hair and my girl usually just gives me layers and thins it out. If I want to add a little more wave to it, I take a flat iron and make super loose curls.

I don't have pictures, but in addition to what you said I get layers. That's pretty much all I can do with my hair.

No pics, but I have long wavy hair and I layer it to bring out the curl/wave and I part it on the side because otherwise it looks too boring. I think it looks pretty nice. The last time I had it this long was in high school (used to have it to my butt, it's to right below my bra now... midback?) and just those two changes make such a huge difference, IMO (it was all one length and I usually parted it in the middle or brushed it straight back... it was just so heavy and the upper layer was straighter than the bottom layers that it didn't look as nice as it does now). About a year ago I had them frame my face just slightly with some shorter layered bangs and that looked pretty nice too.. It's grown out now to where you an't tell I had bangs (they didn't do too much; I haven't had bangs in 20 years and was nervous about them!), but I'll probably do it again the next time I get a trim (that was my last haircut, I'm due for a trim too).
