I don't really like them either, but I've been eating them lately for the potassium.

I haven't tried all the fruits on the planet but bananas are the only one I would never eat again so far.

Freckly brown spots but still firm. Greenish bananas are poison, blech.

I remember one time I got a banana milkshake from Sonic and I COULD TASTE THE GREEN BANANAS

I'll eat them yellow with some brown, but I prefer them with a good amount of green and really firm. I think once they're yellow and/or browning they taste too strongly of banana. When they're greener, they aren't mushy and have a more subtle banana aroma and flavor.

Yeah, once they get more than just a little brown on them they taste like they're rotting.

Which technically they are, I guess.

Halfway between a little green and perfectly yellow.

Almost overripe. Anything greener than that results in agony.

I prefer them yellow with a few brown spots. They taste sweeter, I think.

When you can peel them easily by snapping the stem with your hands.
Underripe - they won't snap
Overripe - they fall apart

Overripe. Like spots covering it. But then I'm allergic so it's a bad idea.

Once they're yellow or have any spots, I don't like eating them. They have be underripe or just at that mark where they're perfect to eat. Unless they're those little bananas that I've only eaten in South America and Africa. Then those can be yellow with brown spots.

I like my bananas like I like my men. Big, hard, and no where near any of my orifices at any time.
