|wigs, how do they work?

How the heck do wigs stay on? Can a wig be secured so that it's solid enough for a serious dance performance?|
Forgive my wig ignorance.
ask britney spears (actually I think she has a weave)
but I think they can be pinned on pretty good if you have enough natural hair to hold it on. not sure if you're full bald how they work though.
"not sure if you're full bald how they work though."
Bobby pins, yo. If your hair is long enough, I recommend making sure you have it in ties so that it doesn't slip around under the wig and the bobby pins have something to get purchase on.
Also wig caps are good. those can be bobby pinned to your hair, and you could use double-sided fabric tape to stick inside of wig to wig cap along the edges.
One other thing, if your wig's style will work with it, headbands can also help keep the wig in place.
also thank you for reminding me of magnets haven't though about that in ages and just had a good chuckle
Staple gun. You have to be prepared to suffer for your art.
I've only ever worn a cheap ~35 dollar wig but the cap part had an elastic that kept the wig snugly on my head.
You mean WIGnorance!
(Sorry for the lame joke, I had to do it.)
(I came to say the same thing. :))
Damn. Should have read the comments before posting my own wignorance comment.
I feel like there was a serious missed opportunity there.
As well as what others said (wig caps + pins or tape) lot of wigs also have adjustable straps inside them so you can make sure they're fitting snugly on your head, not just slipping around.
