[fuzzycthulhu]
Tablet owners of TQC, can you recommend a tablet to me?

It will be used primarily for web browsing, watching Netflix, writing (will get a Bluetooth keyboard). It needs to have an HMDI output port.

Thanks TQC!!

I love our nexus. It was cheaper than the others too.

I am not really up on all the technology though so I don't know if I'm qualified to answer. It does all the stuff you are talking about though and it syncs all of my data/apps pretty well.

I have absolutely no experience with tablets, and haven't really read a lot about them either, but if you want a tablet and a keyboard, have you seen these?

I see the commercials all the time, and your post reminded me of it.

I hate those commercials. They make it look like the keyboard comes with it but it's like $100 extra!

I think maybe you should get a laptop?

I have one! :) I've had a Toshiba laptop for the past 5 years, and I've been wanting a tablet for a while now.

I've had my Asus Transformer eee pad for about seven/eight months. I use it everyday 5+ hours sometimes up to twelve. I watch Netflix/hulu on it all the time, some times all day. Everynight i fall asleep with netflix on. And its my alarm/calander. The battery life is okay, about three hours if streaming, five hours browsing, no real use... I'm not sure how long it will hold a charge. It has an HDMI and if you get the keyboard base a usb. It takes micro SD cards, I have a sixteen in it right now. I'm answering this question on my tablet right now.

Let's see... the older transformer which I have, has pretty sharp edges, the newer one is better for that, but I just got a cover for mine. Turning it on is weird, you have to hold it for five seconds and nothing tells you that I flipped out on mine for a while. Mine crashes once and a while and can be a little wonky, but honestly not too bad. Hmmmm.... oh, on lj, it can sometimes be a nightmare to post entries comments because the cursor pretty much hates lj. I still use it to post but sometimes complicated ones I'll switch the the lj app or my laptop.

I can't say I have much to complain about other than the camera is kind of shitty. The sound is reasonably loud. The spell checker is a little weird, but it has voice to text and swipe so those are cool.
