Is there a specific term for pants that the cut is done straight or very near straight? IE-not tapered.

straight-leg are the standard mom kind of jeans with no flare, or skinny jeans which are tight all the way.

A good straight cut will go straight from your hip down. A straight cut that goes straight from your waist down is called a Mom Jean.
