Do you know anyone who doesn't react well to gifts they receive?

Inspired by my niece, who had such a flat look on her face when she was opening her presents like it was a chore. Not even the slightest hint of a smile (and we got her what she asked for!).  I know she's a little awkward/offbeat in general, but this just came off as rude.
