I am unemployed so I haven't been spending money on stuff for myself. Maybe next month if I get approved for a student loan/accepted to school I will be less hoarding of my savings. I would like to get a guitar for myself.
I got me a little tattoo today!
Neat! What kind of design? Where'd you get it? Yes, I know, I'm nosey! :O)
No, I'm really bad at spending money on myself in general. Christmas is no exception.
Same. I hem and haw for weeks about if I should buy a shirt. And then by the time I decide I want it, it's usually not at the store anymore :(
Not for Xmas but because of Xmas. Everytime I buy something for someone on my list I buy something for me too.
My SO and I are getting ourselves a new queen-size air bed for the guest room. It sounds boring, but we found it on sale and got SO EXCITED, lol
ummm i got myself this "bun maker" thing the other day when i was out xmas shopping. it was like $3 lol
A $3 bun maker? Where'd you buy it?
My family had a rule wherein you are not allowed to buy yourself anything between December 1st and Christmas. This was because there were a couple of times that someone came home gleefully waving the newest book in the series they'd been reading only to have someone else get pissed because they'd already bought that book for that person for Christmas.
This did not stop my mother from one year buying herself a set of twelve butter warmers, wrapping them, and putting them under the tree to herself "from Santa", on a year that my father ALSO bought my mother a set of twelve butter warmers and put them under the tree addressed to my mother "from Santa". They came two in a box, so that was twelve boxes of butter warmers. We were in hysterics by the end.
I'm not buying myself anything, but I might get myself a belated Christmas present if nobody gets me anything cool.
Haha. My parents have the same rule :)
And I love the butter warmer story. (But wtf is a butter warmer for?)
I have not gotten myself anything for Christmas. But maybe I will after the holidays.
I have before, usually if I'm buying something for someone else on Amazon that doesn't quite add up to $25 for free shipping, I'll throw on a paperback that I've wanted in order to make the minimum.
I don't tend to get holiday or birthday gifts from anyone, so yeah, I admit, sometimes I buy myself a gift to treat myself if I can afford it.
i bought myself my first designer handbag! i commute every day and needed something big and durable. it looks like:
so cute!!! it will be stylish for a long time, too. i bought myself a coach one like that in like, 2002?? still use it :)
My husband and I are headed to Napa, a Xmas for/to ourselves.
I haven't and probably won't. if I were going to and could readily afford it, I'd love a tablet. :D

Going to get myself tickets to see Marilyn Manson this January. I had tickets for October but didn't get to go... so I'm going to make sure I can make this next show (:
dude i was going to buy tickets for the show here in february but goddamn it is the shittiest excuse for a venue ever (giant domed roof wont be echo-y at ALL) and the tickets are crazy expensive! 70 bucks for a non-arena concert? no thanks.
Yes, I bought myself a Guess purse I've been eyeing for months and this light jacket with an absolutely delicious lining. Only bummer is is it sheds EVERYWHERE, so I hope that stops, and I need to take it to a tailor to add length to the sleeves, which is lame because I know I won't be able to for awhile.
Ages ago when I was single I would (buy myself something). I saved all year to buy Christmas gifts and after I bought something for everyone on my list, I would buy myself something. Usually something useful, like a new winter coat. I don't do that anymore. I've had that same thing happen to me when I got myself something I wanted, only to have my husband get upset because he had bought me that same item for Christmas.
i got myself a thing to spray olive oil. i only got it because i was a few bucks short of free shipping and it was cheaper than paying for shipping.
theres a few things on my wishlist i kinda actually need (hellllooo
USB powered coffee cup size/shaped humidifier) so if no one buys them for me for christmas ill get them for myself. actually, almost half of the stuff on my list ill end up getting for myself (air filter, travel humidifier, sleep mask, indian slow cooker cookbook, hairbrush that help dry hair, the ice scraper mitten thing, magnetic mirror, hot sticks)
that said - if anyone wants to buy me stuff off my wish list so i dont have to buy it for myself... :Dhttp://amzn.com/w/WFFJAJVZV729
How does it work? Someone got me one for my birthday and it looks neat!
I'm horrible; I always end up getting myself something for Christmas even when I promise myself I won't. Planning on treating myself to a couple things from Anthropologie after the holidays.
Well we have a family rule that we are not supposed to buy stuff for ourselves starting after thanksgiving. However, I did buy myself a few items (some sweaters and home decor) while I was out with my sister who was able to give me the okay to buy them because she knew nobody had bought them for me.
I'll wait until after christmas and buy whatever I wanted but didn't receive.
An outfit from my splurge store and a DVD
I bought myself the Law & Order boxed set, but I've been saving up for it since the summer so it wasn't really a Christmas present.
I would get myself some clothes, because I'm getting sick of my whole closet right now.
I went to a makeup sale and came out with two new eyeshadows, two eyeliners, a lipliner, a mini perfume, and four nail polishes D:
Yes... I was bad this morning and bought a Harley Quinn collectible. I'll count it as an X-Mas gift. :x
I bought a few things but nothing new. I go to thrift shops for myself, so I never get doubles of anything! Except socks and underwear, but that's all good ;)
I guess buying Sigur Ros tickets was an early Christmas gift for myself. :)
I'm going to get myself a manicure and eyelash extensions, but that's more for the New Year than Christmas.
