Anything else that was boring.
I would want to go to the zoo and stay in a hotel with a waterpark or at least a big pool. Unlike most commenters probably, I'd hate to go to Disneyworld, haha. Overcrowded rides and creepy people in costumes. I never understood the appeal.
the beach! honestly i would be up for anywhere, but i was raised mostly by my grandmother so i'm sure i'm biased :p
probably disney or the beach
crater of diamonds state park in arkansas is my 10 year old son's dream vacation right now.
Well if so, then the first in NY city, next to the sea in the Maldives, then to Canada, Chile and Peru, always with a visit to Antarctica, well then in Singapore, Thailand and Turkey :)
with my grandmother yes
When I was 11? Anywhere pretty much. Theme parks... most awesome. I guess least favorite place would have been like a cemetery.
lol "we're vacationing at the cemetery this year. c'mon kids!"
XD Yeah, would definitely be an odd choice for vacationing. On the other hand I could actually see some people doing it, like a tour of California cemeteries, some people really love cemeteries. For me, though, it would be boring and restrictive.
Theme parks - overcrowding + long lines = grumpy 11 yr old me
I loved camping as a kid (and still do)!
London and other cities in the UK. When I was eleven, my parents and I went to Japan for vacation. We went to Tokyo Disney where I had so much fun, but I loved the other cultural and sightseeing tours as well.
I would not have wanted to go anywhere tropical or beach-related. Due to my father's career, my family and I were living on Guam when I was that age. I would have wanted to vacation somewhere different from my living environment.

Between the ages 7-11 I pretty much always went on holiday with my parents and nan. Generally we went to the seaside. That was alright with me.
a nudist resort!
Right the fuck home. With my family that would have been miserable, and I would have rather gone to school lol.
Honestly at 11 I would want to go anywhere the adults and I could part ways for a bit because they can really suck fun like no one's business sometimes. Maybe camping would be cool because then there is less of the "we must make memories and do all the things!" mentality lol.
I'd probably want to go to Disney World or something. I'd probably enjoy myself more at the beach though (my family and some of the extended family did an annual trip to the North Carolina beaches growing up; we started doing it again semi-annually 5 years ago... I loved it then and love it now and look forward to taking my children). I'd enjoy camping too, but I'm camping cursed. :/
Somewhere boring? Vegas?

If I were eleven years old right now... The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
I wouldn't want to go anywhere very hot. Or involving a long road trip. My parents like "driving around" for the sake of scenery, and while I can understand that now, I found that fuckass boring when I was a kid.
I hated cruises at that age. HATED them. So... not that. :)
I loved our month-long car trips where we'd get in the car and drive, staying at cheap roadside motels. We saw 46 states by the time I was 14 that way, and I remember those trips incredibly fondly.
We'd do everything on the way, from theme parks to tourist traps, visiting friends and family to (family hobby) conventions. I loved-- LOVED-- going to National Parks and we did that often as well, often hiking, doing the "Junior Ranger" programs, or, really, anything fun like that. We'd go to the beach, museums, have picnics, go to the "largest xyz in the US" things... seriously... you name it, we did it and it was AWESOME.
Disney World! Though when I was 11 I went to Myrtle Beach with my Mom and Grandma
Disney World or amusement parks.
Disney World or some other amusement park.
I was never interested in "boring" stuff like monuments, museums, etc as a kid. Things like DC or the Grand Canyon would've bored me to tears at that age.
The Grand Canyon
New York for site seeing (Statue of Liberty and such, maybe a musical)
Philadelphia- I went there once probably the summer after fifth grade. My sister was going to a sports camp of some kind there but my mom, grandfather and I went into Phili and went to see the Liberty Bell and such. I had learned about it in school so it was cool to go and see.
I would probably hate somewhere super boring that didn't have kid friendly things.
Disney World/Land or any amusement park type place. When I was about 9 years old, I went to Carlsbad Caverns and loved it.
At age 11, I would have hated Vegas or NYC or some place like that. (But I'd love it now!)
disney! or maybe williamsburg. I always thought colonial history was interesting.
