I have a 3rd interview tomorrow (2nd in person.)  Is this where they make me an offer, or are there still more interviews yet to come?  This isn't NASA.

How many times have you interviewed for a job?

they are secretly running an editorial on interview clothes and thus want to see as many varieties as possible

I did 2 in person interviews for my last hotel job. I did a phone interview and an in person for my job with a Senator. Never done 3 before.

i got a new job in october and it was kind of like that - phone interview (but it was very brief, more like a screening), in person interview with the hiring manager, then a second in person interview with my manager.

Three is not unusual at least in my industry....#1 Is a basic Personality interview, #2 is Team Integration and possibly skills interview, #3 is skills (if not part of 2) or Team (if not part of two) and usually some form of negotiation to make sure we're on the same page.

They're all different. Be prepared for an offer and to negotiate, but also be prepared that may not happen.

The most I've had was one. I've been lucky and only interviewed for three jobs (all other jobs people asked me to work for them). I've been offered a job at the end of one interview; I was so unprepared for that so now I always am!

My husband applied to Amazon earlier this year and had four interviews before they turned him down. The fourth one was a 6 hour interview too! I felt so bad for him. He also had two interviews with the university where the second was more just introducing him to everyone than an actual interview. I think they were testing how he got along with everyone, but it was just such a surprise to do that as opposed to a normal interview.

I actually just finished with testing, 3 interviews, a home visit, and then they offered me the job. Holy crap it was intense!
