what in the fuck
this was my identical reaction
Wow, those pictures are from like 2000. lol
And I say this because I remember reading the entry on ModBlog when it was first done.
Same! It's a pretty neat use of a bridge piercing.
No because I don't wear them all the time. Plus those little screws look like a PITA to have to undo to take the lenses off.
Good for you but how do you manage to get the lenses on and off?
I'd be scared of something hitting me in the face or getting caught on a shirt and ripping them out.
Not in a million years.
Because that sounds so much more convenient than them just resting over your ears.
Um, good for you/ouch
Yes, but theyre not for all day wear.
No I would not.
I wouldnt say anything--what would one say? "Why did you do that?" they obviously did it because they wanted to. Maybe id ask if it ever gets caught on their shirt but without a prompt i wouldnt just go up to someone and really ask them about anything like that.
No but I should. I'm getting some in a couple of days.
Never. I don't even have my ears pierced. The idea of being pierced creeps me out.
I probably wouldn't say anything unless they brought it up, and then be politely interested before quickly changing the subject.

sometimes (when i'm driving, or if i need them to read the board at school)
i would tell them to buy some contacts
YES...or at least maybe? I wear mine all the time, and they always need adjusting because they slide down my nose.
Id ask where they had it done.
That is was quite foolish.
Never seen that before.
I never take my specs off (seriously) but I wouldn't do that. Wouldn't have anything against anyone who did though. I'd be quite interested actually!
The things people do....

You wear them to bed? To shower? While swimming?
Yes to all the above.
Bad habit but too used to it now.
How do they not break when you're sleeping? And how do you wash your face?

Some people don't move a lot in sleep. Your second question is a silly one, come on.
"Isn't it a PITA when they get dirty?"
What an awful idea. I bet they get stress bumps and migrate like a motherfucker.
"THAT LOOKS SO COOL, did it hurt a lot?"
I should for reading but rarely do.
And no. NO.
That's very....committed of you.
I've got a really bad headache and just seeing those pictures is making my head hurt worse. Ouch. No. Never.
You know, it's not attractive, but neither is it permanent, so.
I do wear glasses on occasion. I would not get a bridge-piercing, to support glasses or otherwise, because if a student got upset with me, that would be a great place for them to grab to get my attention.
Hell to the fuck no
Hope ya don't need an MRI ever
I don't wear glasses, but you couldn't pay me to pierce anything near my eyes! I'd be worried about that shiz ripping out... knowing my luck it WOULD happen.
Ew. How about some cute neck bolts to go with.
What? Hell no, what the fuck is this? Gah!
I wear glasses and frankly I fall asleep with them on far too often. I also bump them a lot and have to put them on my head in order to read. Piercing them is a) stupid and b) definitely not something I could do if it weren't so stupid.
I have a bad case of dry eyes so reading glasses help me.
I would not get my reading glasses pierced on.
I would say nothing to the person with pierced glasses but I would be thinking they were an idiot.
When I first saw this years ago, I thought it'd be cool to get done. My ears are uneven so always have to get the arms of my glasses adjusted, and my glasses get all smooshed if I'm lying on my side because of the arms, so it seems like this would be a good option.
And I like bridge piercings. Though this doesn't look as good as I remember.
I'd also be concerned about how heavy they would be.
Sorry for the delete, I totally misread hte question and thought you asked if we'd date someone who had them...
I wouldn't have it done, although I used to wear glasses.
I'm not into piercings in the first place so I'm probably a bad example, but YIKES. No way I'd ever do that.
I can't imagine things turn out well for your nose if you get hit in the face by something. I've had my glasses knocked off and/or broken many times over the years; something like this seems only slightly below nipple piercings on the scale of "ways to end up accidentally ripping a chunk of flesh from thy body".
Nothing, because it's none of my damn business.
Not like that. I might get tiny neodymium magnets embedded under my skin that the glasses could stick to. (I mainly want one in my hand so I can feel magnetic fields.)
