I used to actually like Nickelback. But when I was a senior in high school, I was rallying really hard to make "Work" by Jimmy Eat World our class song and it lost to "Photograph" by Nickelback. It was all downhill from there, lol.
I find endless pleasure in mocking the music of Alan Jackson, Blink 182, and everything post-Beatles recorded by Paul McCartney.
all Christian music except Stryper
LOL. I have three Stryper albums on vinyl: Yellow and Black Attack, To Hell With The Devil, and In God We Trust. There is some hilarious stuff on those. I can't imagine how they performed all that stuff with a straight face. I am about as atheist as they come, but I am totally hooked on Stryper and Petra as well. (With titles like "Get On Your Knees And Fight Like A Man", "Why Should The Father Bother", and "Godpleaser", how could you not love Petra?)
I wish there was no such thing as meatloaf That song two out of three ain't bad can instantly threaten any good mood I might have, and it comes on at the worst times. Even when I start thinking about the lyrics it turns me into some bitter, resentful, scorned .. thing. Ahhhh.
I love metal music but people keep on telling me to listen to them to earn my metal credit or something (well mainly they are just like: You don't like Iron Maiden? Than you are not metal!) But to me, all their albums just sound the same. It's not that the music is bad, but i just want to listen to some variety in songs.
