tbh I just get a bagel and cream cheese with my morning coffee and save it for lunch. it's so boring but I'm way too busy during the day to eat a proper lunch and it just works. I am starving when I get home and haven't eaten anything but a bagel and cream cheese and maybe some candy I've pilfered from my students' prize box.
I don't, because I only work part time, so I don't get a lunch break. It's fine, really, I eat at odd times anyway and I'm usually leaving work right around the time I would generally eat my first meal.
But my husband works 10 hour shifts, so he takes two meals with him to work plus snacks. I usually pack leftovers from dinner the day before and then a salad or sandwich. Plus veggies, a fruit, some kind of nut, some kind of crunchy grain snack, and tea.
That's really awesome about your friend. I'm not watching them, but we don't have tv anyway, so I don't watch much of anything.
I don't have to, but I do. Because I'm cheap. I have different things every day, or I'd get bored. Today I had grapes, some pasta and brocolli salad, and vegetable spring rolls. Yesterday I had a sandwich, apples and cinnamon, and granola. Tuesday I had ...er... cold pizza. Monday was a holiday for me.
I am not.
I have pita bread with humice and tabouli salad or spinach and rice vinegar with white cannelli and black beans sprinkled with cumin
I should pack a meal for the two days a week I'm on campus all day, but I never ever remember so I usually just go home starving and eat a ton then.
Sometimes I buy, sometimes I take left overs, sometimes I take a frozen dinner. I usually bring a little snack like cheese, and apple/orange or some crackers.
no. congrats to your friend!!
I bring breakfast and lunch. It's way less expensive, and I eat a lot less this way.
Breakfast is usually yogurt and cereal. Lunch is usually a cold cut sandwich, but sometimes it's a can of Progresso soup. I typically include a few pieces of fruit.
tbh i would normally forget and go to the make your own sandwich/wrap station and make something and buy a piece of fruit with it
I always bring a sandwich, sometimes with some Chexmix or a protein shake. My sandwiches are awesome though! Usually chipotle chicken cold cuts on potato bread with red onions and some kind of spread (rosemary herb, tomato eggplant red pepper) or avacado.
No. That's awesome though!
I *should* pack a lunch each day, but I never do, so I end up eating pastry snacks.
I don't have to pack, but I often do just because there are not a lot of food places around where I work so I get sick of the ones that are there. I usually bring a nice salad, soup, or a sandwich wrap. I'll keep fruits and veggies around to snack on.
I am lucky, I keep everything at work. I have oatmeal for breakfast, and I have bread and cold cuts in the fridge and a sandwich press! The only thing I make at home is my coffee which is automatically programmed to go off in the morning. Let's just say Im not a morning person. I have a really long commute so I try to minimize my chores at home so I don't have to worry about lunch.
I freelance from home now. But when I did work outside the home, it was often leftovers I made extra of on purpose.
Nah. I'm a weirdo who is not much into music at all, period. But tell your friend congrats!
