Why did I just get a bill and a magazine from Martha Stewart Living when I've never subscribed to that magazine?

Is this a sales technique? Or did someone sign me up?

What's the last thing you got in the mail?

Might be a mistake...you can just rip it up and ignore it.

I got a box of treats from someone I know.

Could be a mistake. Sometimes if you sign up for a sweepstakes without checking the "I already have a subscription" they'll send you an issue with a bill, thinking you're interested.

It's probably a mistake, but I would call to verify. They would probably continue to send annoying billing statements.

The last thing I received was a postcard from my travel agency about their latest sales on trips. The last personal thing I received was a "just because" present from my aunt. It was a necklace she got from her latest trip.

I'd say sales technique. I've seen those come in the mail before, but if you're unsure, then phone them to confirm.

Bills.
