I live in Vegas so I can probably help! First though, how old are you and what do you like to do?
I'm 28. Two of the things that I've already said I want to do is go to the Neon Graveyard and the Pinball museum-y thing. I'm probably going to be drunk the whole time, but I'm going with my boyfriend and his parents (it's all for the business, I swear! LOL) so we won't be frequenting many strip clubs. At least not until the 'rents go to bed. :)
Lets see.. You could go down to Fremont Street and do zip lining.. You could go to Insert Coins which is an old school arcade bar also at Fremont Street. You could check out the Goretorium, it's new it's a year round haunted house with a lounge and bar. At the MGM they have a CSI investigation you can do, Check out the new City Center in the strip. The Cosmopolitan is really nice and in their parking garage the walls are painted by famous artists. If you're here within the first week of December you could check out First Friday down at the art district. :)
That's exactly when I will be there; Dec. 2-7th.
All of my previous trips have had the "get as drunk as possible and stay that way the whole time" vibe. Not this time.
I'm only 19 so I've yet to enjoy the things vegas has to offer, but that would have been my goal too haha. There's also a magical forest in December if you're into holiday things. I hope you have a good time!! Let me know if you want to know anything. :)
My boyfriend's mom is CRAZY about holiday stuff. We may have to check that out!!!
The Cosmopolitan was awesome and beautiful - definitely check that out
I went last year in December and it was a blast. Cold as fuckkkk though, so bring warm clothes.
Cold? LOL I guess it depends on where you are from! To me, Dec temps in Vegas, were short worthy.
I'm from Southern California, so like 50 degrees is cold LOL. It was about 20-30 degrees when we were in Vegas. And I don't own winter clothes, so I was definitely not properly attired, LOL.
The latest in the year that I've ever been was October and I was freezing, but they keep trying to tell me that it won't be "that bad." LIES! LOL
I went with my family who is from North Dakota and they kept teasing me for whining about how fucking cold it was. I am SO not used to 30 degree weather. Ughhhh.
If you haven't seen Love, at The Mirage, you simply must buy tickets! I've been to a lot of Circ and entertainment shows and that is BY FAR the best!
Fountains at the Bellagio
Voodoo rooftop nightclub (amazing view)
Ride the Roller Coaster at the NYNY
Walk Up and Down the strip/through hotels (sounds lame but yep)
