Every time I try to download something it fails. Either a pop up says that the link doesn't work or just nothing happens. I click the download and then nothing.

Anyone know anything that can help me? It is terribly frustrating not knowing what to do.

DK/DC: Can you tell me something that happened recently that was frustrating for you?

Could it possibly download but be in another file?
I'm not that tech savvy unless it has to do with a program I regularly tinker with. -_-"

My pre-calc prof is frustrating...I understand pre-calc but I find his teaching style unseemly. He likes to show us on the board one example and then the rest of the hour is 'study' hall. I don't think he is very good and I feel I waste a lot of time teaching myself stuff I should had learned in the classroom. I think I could had done better taking it as an online course. The silver lining is we only have six more weeks of this crap and then I get to take calc with a prof I admire. I do love math so when I meet profs who teach it poorly I become frustrated reflecting on this is why people hate math.

I don't know and I'm not very tech savvy, but it may help others if you add some details to your post :) What browser and operating system are you using? What site are you downloading from?

I checked my schedule Sunday night and it was apparently revised Monday. Nobody called to let me know they gave me a shift at noon on Wednesday until 1 on Wednesday. The manager who called me wasn't mad and assured me it wasn't my fault, but it was still kind of frustrating. I can't go in and check my schedule every day :(

If you have your firewall in your security settings set to STRONG, it won't let anything in and may block somethings going out. Check that and set it to medium. Also, it could be the firewall set in your router, if you are wireless. Try connecting directly to the modem when you want to download things. Also, if you are wireless, you could be losing your connection during the download - connecting directly to the modem will solve that too. You might also be blocking pop-ups in your browser settings which causes the downloads not to pop up. Check your browser settings and have browser ask you for every download instead of blocking them all.

Those are the only reasons I can think of why you can't get downloads...

Usually when that happens to me I have to clear my cache and reboot, and it'll fix itself.
